Consolidated Vultee SNV-1

An American WWII-era basic trainer aircraft built by Vultee Aircraft for the United States Army Air Corps, and later US Army Air Forces.  This fine example comes to us from Goodrich, Michigan and will be performing flybys during the show.

Douglas C-54 Skymaster "Spirit of Freedom"


This aircraft is a military version of the Douglas DC-4 airliner and comes to us from the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation. It is a flying museum and tribute to the Berlin Airlift and will be on static display during the show.

Grumman TBM 3E "Avenger"

The Grumman TBM “Avenger” is a WWII-era American torpedo bomber developed for the US Navy and the Marine Corps.  This aircraft comes to us from the Lake Erie Warbirds in Port Clinton, Ohio and will be performing flybys during the show.

Canadian Car and Foundry Harvard Mk 4

A Canadian-built version of the American AT-6 Texan, the Harvard MK4 was a trainer aircraft built under license and used to train post war military pilots.  This example comes to us from the Lake Erie Warbirds in Port Clinton, Ohio and will be performing flybys during the show.

North American TB-25N Mitchell "Georgie's Gal"

The B-25 is a WWII-era medium bomber named in honor of Major General William “Billy” Mitchell.  The aircraft gained fame when 16 of them were launched from the aircraft carrier USS Hornet in the famous Doolittle Raid on Tokyo on April 18, 1942.  This excellent aircraft comes to us from the Liberty Aviation Museum in Port Clinton, Ohio and will be performing flybys during the show.

Douglas C-47 Skytrain "Yankee Doodle Dandy"

The Douglas C-47 is the military transport version of the DC-3 airliner.  This aircraft comes to us from the Yankee Air Museum in Ann Arbor, Michigan and will be available for rides during the weekend of the airshow.  Visit http://www.yankeeairmuseum.org for information on pre-booking a ride in this aircraft.

 

Fairchild C-123 Provider "Thunder Pig"

The C-123 is an American military transport aircraft used by the United States Air Force.  “Thunder Pig” comes to us from the Air Heritage Museum in Beaver County, Pennsylvania and will be performing flybys during the show.

Piper L-21B "Seneca"

The L-21B Seneca is a military version of the Piper PA-18 Super Cub.  It was used as a trainer and liason aircraft.  This one comes to us from the Air Heritage Museum in Beaver County, Pennsylvania and will be performing flybys during the show.
